ABOUT JAMES M. SETERNUS, SR., P.E.

Mr. Seternus is Senior Supervising Engineer at Tangibl Group,   Inc. He has over 38 years of experience in Civil/Structural/Transmission   engineering projects. His assignments have included planning, design for   construction, analysis, and evaluation of High Voltage Transmission,   Distribution, Substation (500kV-69kV), nuclear and fossil generation.  Mr. Seternus has been in roles as owner,   regional manager, project manager, and lead Civil/Structural/Transmission   engineer, with supervisory responsibility for transmission engineers,   designers, and CAD Operators, along with preparation of proposals, design   budgets and schedules. 

As a project civil / structural, and transmission engineering lead, Mr. Seternus has been responsible for numerous transmission engineering projects at PECO Energy Company, Baltimore Gas & Electric Company, Consolidated Edison Company of New York, National Grid, and the PSEG Companies including PSE&G and PSEG Long Island / Long Island Power Authority.  He is proficient in the planning, engineering, and design of transmission right of ways, including the use of PLS-CADD, and detailed engineering review of tapered tubular steel structures as designed by national fabricators.  Mr. Seternus is additionally proficient in the use of the National Electrical Safety Code-C2 including the application of transmission line clearances, loads, and load combinations for high voltage electric transmission. 

Mr. Seternus holds the B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University with continuing education at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  He is a registered professional engineer in the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
